Hello, My name is Ira Campbell. I am a CAD Drafter/Designer based out of sunny Jacksonville, Florida. Drafting/Designing is a passion of mine, as I have been in art classes all my life and I have been making technical drawings ever since my senior year in high school. I have a healthy respect for the field and recognize the importance of it. I truly enjoy creating and working through challenges as they present themselves. I have years of experience across the Architectural, Civil, and Surveying fields. I am currently working as a Civil Drafter/Designer and attending school to become an engineer.

I started using AutoCad in 1987 designing automotive testing equipment. I also spent time working directly in the machine shop to get a machinist perspective on the manufacturing process, which helps when preparing detail drawings. Some of the projects I worked on include, Fuel injector test stand, air bag test chamber, seatbelt test stand, transmission dyno, and many other similar projects. I also spent 7 years doing civil design/drafting using AutoCad and ESRI GIS software. As far as education. I took college courses in drafting and computer aided design in AutoCad. I also have an associate degree in radiologic technology.
