I am Rajnish Kumar with around 4 years of experience in the aeroengine gas turbine domain. I am a highly focused Structural Durability and Life Management Engineer specializing in the High-Pressure Compressor (HPC) rotor for the LEAP-1B engine program. My core expertise lies in performing advanced fatigue analysis using 2D FEA and LCF, Fracture Mechanics principles to ensure component integrity and define safe service life. My responsibilities encompass the full scope of life management, including: Calculating Low Cycle Fatigue (LCF) life using mission profiles, Rainflow Counting, and Miner's Rule. Executing detailed crack initiation and crack propagation analyses to establish Serviceable Limits for critical features like the Seal Wire Groove. Developing 3D to 2D stress correlation factors to enable accurate and efficient full-mission life calculations. I have a strong foundation in Thermo-mechanical Fatigue (TMF) and Stress Concentration Factor (Kt) calculation, directly supporting the Life Management team in making critical decisions regarding non-conforming components and long-term rotor reliability.
