Commercially aware, professional engineer with experience of design, specification, testing and installation of oil and gas equipment; in particular piping and subsea valves. Currently working for a subsea valve company, responsible for producing concept designs, designing to customer specifications, troubleshooting products, introducing cost-cutting methods and planning departmental work schedule. Particular areas of experience include gate, ball, needle and check valves, but have worked installing pipework and large plant including pulverising mills, electric motors, pumps and compressors.
