I am a Chartered Naval Architect with around ten years of professional experience in the maritime industry, specialising in vessel stability, seakeeping and motion analysis, weight engineering, and general arrangement development. My background is primarily within design offices, supporting concept and basic design stages for yachts and offshore-related vessels.
I have experience with intact and damage stability to ISO and Class, hydrostatics, comfort and motion assessment using strip theory and 3D diffraction tools, as well as early-stage performance evaluations. I regularly work on GA layouts, technical drawings, and design reviews, with a focus on making challenging concepts feasible, compliant, and practical to build.
My experience is complemented by shipyard coordination roles and earlier work as a marine surveyor, which has given me a strong understanding of how design decisions translate into construction, operation, and maintenance.
I am comfortable supporting defined-scope projects such as stability assessments, feasibility studies, GA development, and technical design support.
I am particularly interested in projects involving vessel stability, comfort, concept design, and arrangement development.
