Structural Steel Detailing | SDS2 Modeling, Shop Drawings & Checking Need reliable support with structural steel modeling, detailing, or drawing checks? I can help you organize your steel detailing workflow, review drawing information, prepare bolt summaries, and identify discrepancies before they create confusion during fabrication or erection. My focus is on accuracy, clear communication, and delivering organized work that follows your project drawings and requirements. How I Can Help Your Project • SDS2 Modeling: Model structural steel members, including beams, columns, braces, and connections, based on your project requirements. • Steel Detailing: Support structural steel detailing workflows and the preparation of clear, fabrication oriented detailing information. • Shop Drawing Checking: Review dimensions, member marks, elevations, connection details, and drawing consistency. • Bolt and Weld Review: Check bolt sizes, arrangements, edge distances, quantities, and weld callouts against the provided drawings and specifications. • Shop and Field Bolt Summaries: Prepare organized bolt summaries that help your team review shop and field connection requirements. • Quality Control Support: Identify missing information, drawing discrepancies, and potential detailing issues that require clarification. • Technical Documentation: Prepare structured Excel sheets, checking lists, and detailing reports for easier project coordination. • SDS2 Macros and Automation: Support repetitive detailing workflows using SDS2 automation where applicable. What You Can Expect • Careful attention to dimensions, elevations, and member orientation. • Clear, organized documentation that is easy to review. • Communication whenever drawing information is unclear or inconsistent. • Work based on your project drawings, applicable standards, and detailing instructions. • A quality focused approach to help reduce avoidable errors and rework. Let's Discuss Your Project Whether you need help with SDS2 modeling, shop drawing checks, bolt summaries, or steel detailing documentation, I would be happy to discuss your requirements. Have a project ready? Send me a message before placing an order. Share your drawings, the scope of work, and your expected deliverables. I'll review the requirements and discuss how I can help you move your project forward. Let's make your steel detailing workflow more accurate, organized, and efficient.
