My architecture is characterized by a quiet authority, devoid of flamboyant, ego-driven forms. Instead, you discover buildings that feel inevitable, as if they have always belonged to their site. This is the result of a rigorous methodological strength: an analytic and empathetic design process that prioritizes listening—to the client’s dreams, to the site’s topography and ecology, to the community’s history, and to the materials’ inherent voices. My skill set is a powerful fusion of the ancient and the cutting-edge. I am an adept draughtsman, who pairs that fluency with CAD softwares. My accomplishments can be measured in a few awards and lived experiences of my designs and buildings’ occupants, and the health of the ecosystems they inhabit. My development in the AEC industry has been fuelled by my formative educational experiences at the University of Lagos, through to the establishment of a defining philosophical and practical approach in the years that followed. My education—both formal and lifelong—has played a significant role in forging my unique architectural voice.
