I am developing a premium 14 × 14 × 14 cm ambient lighting and photo-display cube with a thin integrated base.
The product should display one continuous personal image or panoramic scene across the front and right faces of the cube. The front and right image areas use independent high-quality neutral-white backlighting, while the top, left, rear, edges, and lower areas create soft RGBW gradients.
The image lighting and colored ambient lighting must be electrically and optically separated so that the RGBW light does not affect skin tones, photograph colors, contrast, or image clarity.
The main additional design requirement is a practical replaceable cartridge system for both image faces.
The preferred direction is:
One flat rigid acrylic cartridge for the front face
One flat rigid acrylic cartridge for the right face
Both cartridges are created from the same panoramic image and installed as one matched set
One concealed physical release button integrated into the base
Pressing the button releases both cartridges at the same time
The front cartridge moves slightly forward
The right cartridge moves slightly outward
The user then removes and inserts the two cartridges separately
