About the job
We are seeking an experienced architect and master planner to develop the conceptual design and master plan for a beachfront family resort on Farasan Island, Saudi Arabia.
The site area is approximately 30,000 sqm, with around 350 meters of beachfront and an average depth of 85 meters.
The project is intended to be presented to tourism investors, hotel operators, and resort developers. Therefore, the design must be visually distinctive, commercially feasible, cost-efficient, and suitable for phased development.
The proposed resort may include:
– Private beachfront villas with pools and exclusive, highly private beach access
– A family-oriented hotel or serviced apartment building
– Beach restaurants, cafés, and family dining areas
– Family and children’s swimming pools
– Kids’ club and family recreation facilities
– Diving center, water sports, and a small marina
– Landscaped gardens and shaded pedestrian walkways
– External roadside parking only, with no internal parking areas
Required deliverables:
– Comprehensive resort masterplan and zoning strategy
– Conceptual architectural design for the main resort components
– Preliminary plans, elevations, and area schedules
– Guest, pedestrian, service, and operational circulation
