I am seeking an experienced CAD professional to convert a complete engineering drawing package into print-ready files for selective laser melting (SLM) of Ti-6Al-4V titanium. Full project details will be provided after NDA execution.
WHAT I NEED:
A prismatic titanium component with:
Precise external geometry per provided drawings
Internal gyroid TPMS architecture — true Schwartz gyroid, fully bicontinuous, zero isolated voids
Minimum wall thickness 0.40mm
Three variants differing only in gyroid unit cell size
Specific end termination geometry at both faces per drawings
DELIVERABLES:
Native CAD files and STEP for all three variants
Print-ready STL or 3MF at 0.04mm chord tolerance
Pore connectivity confirmation — zero isolated voids verified
Build orientation and support strategy recommendation
Dimensional verification against drawing package.
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Demonstrated TPMS or gyroid lattice experience for metal SLM
Portfolio showing successfully printed titanium lattice components
Proficiency in nTopology, Rhino/Grasshopper, or equivalent implicit modeling platform
Familiarity with Ti-6Al-4V L-PBF process constraints
