I am looking for a mechanical design engineer with experience in medical devices, plastic product design, and snap-fit mechanisms.
My project is a Plastuc medical sample tool that requires the development of a functional prototype from an initial concept and sketches into 3D. I need support with:
• Product development and concept refinement
• 3D CAD design (preferably SolidWorks)
• Snap-fit and interlocking mechanism design
• Design for Injection Molding (DFM)
• Prototype-ready engineering files
• Experience with medical or laboratory tools is highly preferred
The goal is to create a robust, manufacturable design that can be prototyped through 3D printing initially and potentially scaled to injection molding production in the future.
