We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer with strong Design for Manufacturability (DFM) expertise to convert a hand-drawn concept into production-ready digital files. The project involves designing a functional, high-stress mechanical component (FIREARM PART/accessory).
You will be provided with a detailed paper sketch containing primary dimensions constraints under an NDA. Your job will be to optimize the geometry for efficient manufacturing (primarily CNC milling/turning) and generate formal technical blueprints.
It is a simple lathed part that is about 53mm long, and 16mm in diameter.
