About the job
Objective:
Develop high-fidelity simulation models of a novel low-temperature energy system combining ejector-driven multiphase flow, expansion turbine, and heat exchange processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop system-level thermodynamic model (pressure, temperature, mass flow)
Simulate transient and steady-state operation
Model phase change behaviour of refrigerant (R32)
Integrate subsystems:
ejectors
heat exchangers
pump
expansion turbine
Validate model using experimental or literature data
Optimize efficiency and stability
Required Skills:
Advanced thermodynamics (real fluids, phase diagrams)
Experience with:
Modelica / MATLAB / Python
Knowledge of:
Rankine / Brayton cycles
refrigeration systems
Understanding of compressible flow
Nice to have:
CFD experience (ANSYS / OpenFOAM)
Experience with refrigerants (R32, CO2, etc.)
