Project Overview
I am looking for a skilled Architectural Draftsman or Designer to perform a series of structural and site-integration revisions on an existing building design. This is a short-term consulting project requiring the delivery of a 30% Schematic Design (SD) set based on specific dimensional constraints.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks
Vertical Reconfiguration:
Completely remove the Lower Ground floor from the current model.
Modify the Ground Floor height to a fixed 10’.
Maintain floors 1, 2, and 3 without structural changes.
Remove the Terrace level entirely.
Massing & Height Compliance:
Ensure the Main Building (guest rooms) adheres to a total height of 42’–45’.
Design a New Second Building consisting of two parts:
Part 1: 110’ x 72’
Part 2: 100’ x 60’
The Second Building must be 2 levels: Level 1 at 18’ and Level 2 at 12’ (Total height 30’–32’).
Site Integration:
Import provided DWG base files and Site Plan.
Accurately place the modified Main Building and the new Second Building onto the CAD site coordinates.
Deliverables
Updated 30% Schematic Design set (Plans and basic Elevations/Massing).
Revised Master CAD file (.DWG) or Revit model including site placement.
Basic 3D massing view showing the relationship between the two buildings.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD (required) and Revit/Rhino (preferred).
