Tribon M3 – Hull & Living Quarters Designer / Naval Architecture
Hull responsibilities
* Create and modify 3D hull structural models in Tribon M3.
* Model decks, bulkheads, shell plates, floors, girders, stiffeners, brackets and other structural members.
* Develop ship structures block by block according to approved drawings and class requirements.
* Prepare detailed and production drawings for fabrication and assembly.
* Generate plate/profile information, material lists/BOM and other production information.
* Check structural arrangements, dimensions and interfaces with piping/equipment/outfitting.
* Review drawings and models for errors before issue to production. These duties align with documented Tribon hull-modeler roles and AVEVA’s hull design workflow.
Living Quarters / Accommodation responsibilities
* Develop accommodation and living-quarter layouts based on the General Arrangement.
* Model cabins, corridors, stairways, doors, bulkheads, decks and related outfitting.
* Coordinate space reservations and arrangements for HVAC, piping, electrical/cable and equipment.
* Prepare arrangement, coordination and production drawings.
* Check clashes between accommodation/outfitting systems and the hull structure.
* Incorporate design revisions and maintain consistency between the 3D model and drawings. AVEVA describes outfitting design as supporting interior ship outfitting, space reservation, and multidisciplinary arrangements.
