Hiring mechanical engineer for concept development and prototyping. No electrical work. Applicants should have extensive experience with linear guides, revolute, spherical joints as well as progressive rate springs. Of less importance, experience with snap fittings. Project best described as a lightweight under 1 kg, 4- axis arm that follows a specific trajectory with spring assistance. Arm will magnetically interface with user who will wear a custom rubber/plastic brace. Intended as sports training equipment to develop muscle memory. Project will begin with revision of given concept to gain familiarity with project, to be followed with at least 2 rough designs of your own. Successful drafting to be followed with prototyping.
