About the job
I am looking for a professional mechanical / furniture design engineer
to prepare complete fabrication (shop) drawings for a luxury metal office desk.
The desk structure will be steel with a wooden top.
The drawings must be suitable for real workshop fabrication.
Scope of work:
- Detailed fabrication/shop drawings with all dimensions in millimeters
- Individual drawings for each metal part
- Section sizes, material thicknesses, cutting lengths and angles
- Welding details and notes
- Exploded view showing assembly sequence
- Bill of Materials (BOM) including material types, quantities and lengths
Deliverables:
- PDF drawings (ready for printing)
- DWG / DXF files (for CNC / laser / plasma cutting)
I will provide:
- Reference images (design inspiration)
- Overall dimensions
- Intended use and load information
