About the job
We are an architectural acoustics manufacturer seeking a technical illustrator / product CAD designer to create spec-grade isometric and 2D CAD drawings for modular ceiling and wall products.
Work will focus on:
Isometric and 2D technical illustrations of pattern layout options
Isometric and 2D drawings of mounting and suspension methods
Dimensioned, vector-based DWG technical drawings for cut sheets and installation guides
This is technical illustration — not 3D rendering or visualization.
SolidWorks may be used for development, but final deliverables must be provided as native DWG files with vector exports.
This will begin with a baffle product and expand to additional product families over time. We are seeking a part-time partner for an initial 6+ month engagement with long-term potential.
Reference system examples will be provided for design direction only. Only technical drawings are required — layout and marketing design will be handled internally.
Fixed pricing for defined scopes is preferred, with an hourly rate provided for capped concept development. Examples have been attached of the level of quality and look these drawings will need.
