Long-Term CAD / 3D Designer for Wooden Wall Art & Sculptures (CNC / STL) Anyone
About the job
We are a premium wooden decor brand producing CNC-machined wall panels and wooden sculptures (organic wall art, animals, skulls, abstract and nature-inspired designs).
We are looking for a reliable, long-term CAD / 3D designer to work with us on a frequent basis.
The work mainly consists of:
• Creating 3D CAD models for wooden decor products
• Translating reference images (often AI-generated), sketches, and measurements into production-ready geometry
• Optimizing designs for 3-axis CNC machining (single-side machining, flat backs where required)
• Keeping an organic, artistic look while ensuring manufacturability
• Minor revisions based on production feedback
Technical requirements:
• Output format: STL files only
• Experience creating CNC-ready STL files
• Understanding of 3-axis CNC constraints
• Ability to balance aesthetics and production limitations
Software is flexible (Blender, Fusion 360, Rhino, SolidWorks, etc.) as long as the final STL files are clean and production-ready.
This is ongoing work, not a one-off project. We are looking to build a long-term collaboration and can start immediately.
