Attached is the visual reference render. This is the target concept, not a final geometry — we need a manufacturable STEP assembly based on the following requirements:
FUNCTION
Under-desk mounting — unit is completely hidden when closed
Drawer opens forward toward user (no side or downward motion)
Hard-stop when fully open (not removable during normal use)
Integrated magnetic wireless charger inside the tray floor
Universal phone cavity — fits phones up to 92 × 180 × 18 mm with cases
User supplies their own USB-C cable — internal routing space required
Rear cable entry hole must be large enough to accept oversized USB-C plug heads
MOUNTING
Hidden bracket system screwed to the underside of the desk
The main unit slides/locks onto the brackets (no visible fasteners when installed)
DESIGN INTENT
Appears flush/recessed under the desk (minimal visual presence)
Clean, minimal Apple-style surfaces (no exposed hardware)
Recessed pull lip under the desk for manual opening
MANUFACTURING
Design for injection molding, but V1 will be 3D-printed for testing
Target wall thickness ~2.6–3.0 mm with proper ribs/draft
No machining or metal rails required in the housing — use plastic features where possible
Keep assembly simple for mass production
DELIVERABLES
STEP + native CAD of all parts and assembly
Basic 2D drawing set with drafts, ribs, bosses, and key dimensions
