Position Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled CNC Lathe and Mill Programmer with expertise in Autodesk Inventor and FeatureCAM to join our precision manufacturing team. This role is responsible for creating efficient and accurate CNC programs for both lathe and milling operations, leveraging advanced CAD/CAM tools to support production of complex components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize CNC programs using FeatureCAM for both lathe and milling machines.
- Design and modify 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor to support machining strategies.
- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical documentation to develop machining plans.
- Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds for various materials and operations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times.
- Maintain organized records of programs, setup sheets, and revision history.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required; associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing preferred.
