I'm looking for an experienced 3D modeler to help bring my tiki mug designs to life. I have concept images/sketches of unique tiki mug designs that need to be transformed into production-ready 3D models and manufacturing molds.
Project Scope:
- Convert existing concept images/photos into detailed 3D models
- Create production-ready files suitable for ceramic mug manufacturing
- Design molds that can be used for mass production of ceramic mugs
- Ensure models are optimized for the ceramic slip casting or press molding process
- Provide files in formats suitable for mold making (STL, STEP, or other manufacturing-appropriate formats)
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in 3D modeling software
- Experience with product design for manufacturing
- Knowledge of mold design, particularly for ceramic or pottery production
- Understanding of manufacturing considerations
- Ability to create files suitable for CNC milling or 3D printing of molds
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Previous experience designing drink ware, mugs, or similar products
- Understanding of ceramic manufacturing processes (slip casting, press molding, etc.)
- Portfolio showing consumer product design work
- Strong attention to detail for capturing tiki-style artistic elements
