About the job
Description:
We need a CAD professional with expertise in precision design to develop:
Front Sight with elevation adjustment.
Rear Sight with windage adjustment, flip-up style.
Designs must integrate with an existing firearm model (reference CAD provided).
Deliverables:
3D CAD files (Fusion 360 F3z, STEP)
Technical 2D drawings with tolerances and callouts (PDF)
Assembly file showing full interaction between front and rear sights.
Skills & Expertise Needed:
Create mechanical parts from references.
Proficiency in Fusion 360 (preferred), SolidWorks, or equivalent CAD software.
Experience with adjustment systems, spring-loaded flip mechanisms, and tight tolerances.
Ability to design for CNC/machining manufacturability.
Additional Notes:
Applicants with firearm sight or small-assembly design experience will be prioritized. Please share examples of precision mechanical assemblies you’ve designed.
