I'm looking for a skilled 3D modeler to convert 2D PDF/DWG files into simple, clean 3D models for use in Revit 2023.1. These models represent generator sets and a remote radiator, which will be used in an as-built BIM model for visual and coordination purposes.
Important Note:
These are for aesthetics and service point coordination — I do not need high-detail internals. However, accurate location and labeling of fuel, water, oil, and exhaust connection points are essential..
Scope of Work (4 Models in Total):
Milestone 1: Cummins KTA50 Generator
Include: Engine, alternator, base frame
Exclude: Radiator (it is remote)
Input: PDFs + partial BIM file
Milestone 2: Mitsubishi S16R-PTA Generator
Include: Engine, alternator, base frame, radiator
Input: PDFs
Milestone 3: FG Wilson P2500 Generator
Include: Engine, alternator, base frame, radiator
Input: DWG + PDF
Milestone 4: Remote Radiator
Include: External form only (basic appearance, main connection points)
Input: PDFs
Deliverables:
Preferred: .RFA (Revit Family) for Revit 2023.1
Acceptable: .STEP or .IAM / .IPT (Inventor 2024)
Each model must:
Be visually representative (blocky but neat)
Include labeled fuel/water/oil connection points
Be optimized to avoid overloading the BIM model
Provided Files:
2D PDFs for each item
DWG for FG Wilson unit
BIM starter file for Cummins (missing engine and wrong radiator)
