I’m looking for a CNC file specialist to create Vectric Aspire (.crv3d) files and working G-code for a FrogWire foam cutter. This project involves cutting curved, round hole cores out of EPS foam blocks, with a very specific cutting format.
Machine & Workflow
Machine: FROG3D FrogWire cutter
Axis type: X, Y, U, V (not W)
Control: Custom G-code input (not proprietary software)
Material: Type 2 EPS foam, typically 8' x 4' x 8" blocks
All cuts must be clean arcs (no slashes through plug), corner-zero placement, and include a short or 2” lead-in
Final cut must match a plug shape, not just an open ring
Cut Geometry
Tapered round hole cores
Must match the curved wall radius of manhole forms
Example diameters: Inner 1310 mm, Outer 1460 mm (wall thickness = 150 mm)
Taper must follow a mold-radius profile, not a straight line
Deliverables
Aspire (.crv3d) file with toolpaths ready to export
Clean, optimized G-code for hotwire cutting
All toolpaths starting from corner-zero (positive X/Y only)
Compatible with FrogWire post processor or generic .nc format
Visual guide showing the plug profile and path if possible
Reusability
We’ll be doing a series of these plug sizes, so if this goes well, I’ll need repeat work in batches - And a lot of other files will be needed for other projects.
