Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Scan to BIM Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in converting laser scan data (point clouds) into accurate, detailed BIM models using industry-standard software. You will collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to produce models that enhance project planning, coordination, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Process and analyze 3D laser scan data to create accurate BIM models (architectural, structural, MEP).

Develop Revit models from point cloud data, ensuring precision and adherence to project requirements.

Collaborate with project teams to understand scope and deliverables.

Conduct quality checks and ensure compliance with BIM standards and client specifications.

Support clash detection and coordination efforts using BIM tools.

Maintain organized documentation and version control of BIM models.

Assist in creating as-built documentation and renovation models.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in Scan to BIM workflows and point cloud processing.

Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and point cloud software (e.g., Leica Cyclone, Faro Scene).

Strong understanding of BIM standards and construction documentation.

Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality models on time.

Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in remote or distributed teams.

Experience with architectural, structural, or MEP modeling is a plus. read less
