About the job
Project Overview:
We have an existing STL of a vacuum nozzle that must be fully rebuilt in Autodesk Inventor, with a clean feature tree, detailed 2D drawings, and several specific geometry modifications to optimize particle flow.
Scope of Work:
1.Rebuild in Inventor
Reverse-engineer the supplied STL into a native Inventor model using sketches + features (extrude, revolve, shell, etc.).
Maintain a logical, well-named feature tree so future edits are straightforward.
2. Geometry Modifications
Remove all existing protrusions from the current outer profile.
Through-hole: Convert the indicated boss into a clear bore; outer Ø 44 mm, inner Ø 32 mm.
Slot: Add a straight slot 4 mm wide × 100 mm long in the specified location.
Flow-path alignment: Adjust the elongated body-slot so it merges seamlessly into the bottom through-hole, creating one continuous, smooth channel for vacuum suction.
Deliverables:
Fully parameterized Inventor model (.ipt) with clean feature tree
Timeline
Until 29.04.2025
