Low Voltage AutoCAD Drafter - Data, AV & Security (Fast Turnaround) Anyone

We are looking for an experienced AutoCAD drafter to assist with producing professional low-voltage construction drawings for commercial and institutional projects, including structured cabling (data), audiovisual (AV), access control, CCTV, and security systems. Revit is also required, for analysis and data extraction.

**Our primary requirement is converting our marked-up drawings into accurate, properly formatted AutoCAD drawing packages.**

We will provide architectural backgrounds (DWG/PDF), marked-up drawings identifying device locations and requirements, equipment information, and examples of previously completed drawing packages.

**Scope of Work:**
- Convert PDF or hand-marked drawings into professional AutoCAD floor plans.
- Accurately place and label devices according to our markups.
- Incorporate cabling information, device numbering, legends, notes, and schedules.
- Create or reproduce typical installation details, mounting details, wiring diagrams, rack elevations, and risers when required.
- Follow our existing CAD standards, symbols, layers, title blocks, and drawing presentation.
- Update drawings based on revisions and additional markups.
- Identify missing or unclear information rather than making assumptions.

**Deliverables:**
- Fully editable AutoCAD DWG files.
- Properly formatted PDF drawing sets.
- Clear, accurate, organized, and consistent construction drawings.
- All applicable details, legends, annotations, and schedules included.

**Turnaround Requirements:**

Fast turnaround is extremely important. We frequently have projects requiring quick drafting and revisions.

- Smaller assignments: ideally 24–48 hours.
- Minor revisions: ideally within 24 hours.
- Larger assignments: deadlines agreed upon before starting.
- Consistent communication and availability for urgent work.

**Qualifications:**
- Strong AutoCAD 2D drafting experience.
- Experience with low-voltage, electrical, ICT, AV, or security construction drawings.
- Ability to accurately interpret markups and replicate existing drawing standards.
- Familiarity with North American construction drawing practices is preferred.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability are essential.

**Important:** We are not primarily looking for an engineering or system design service. Our team will provide the system layouts and design intent. Your responsibility will be to translate that information into complete, professionally presented CAD drawings, including applicable technical details.

We are looking for a dependable freelancer for ongoing assignments, starting with a small paid test project.
