Request for 2D Drawings and 3D CAD Data – Reverse Shoulder Arthroplasty Implant System (Prototype / Engineering Evaluation) Anyone

We are looking to obtain 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD data for a reverse shoulder arthroplasty implant system, for non-clinical prototype fabrication and engineering evaluation.

Please note that while we have experience with orthopedic product development, reverse shoulder arthroplasty and shoulder implants in general are not our main area of expertise. We would therefore appreciate designers who can also share practical knowledge, point out important design considerations, and suggest improvements where appropriate.

Existing drawings and CAD models are welcome. A new design from scratch is not required. We are willing to pay for suitable existing design files, with modifications quoted separately if necessary.

We can also share our initial concept if further design development is needed.

Desired components:

Glenoid baseplate
Glenosphere
Fixation screws
Humeral stem
Humeral tray and polyethylene insert

Proposals for either a complete system or individual components are welcome. Please clearly describe which components are included.

Preferred deliverables:

Editable 3D CAD files, preferably SolidWorks
STEP files
2D manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, materials, and surface finishes
Assembly drawings, if available

The data should contain sufficient detail for prototype manufacturing. If the available files are only concept models or require further work, please explain what is missing.

Please include:

A brief description or images of the available design that you are authorized to share
A list of available components and file formats
Whether the design has previously been prototyped or tested
Price for the existing data
Additional cost for any required modifications
Delivery time
Ownership and licensing terms, including permission to modify the design and manufacture prototypes

You must own the offered design or have authorization to provide it. Please disclose any third-party restrictions.

Confidential information can be shared after an NDA is agreed upon. Physical prototype manufacturing is optional and may be quoted separately.

Please also let us know whether you can recommend or coordinate with a suitable manufacturer and support the project through physical prototype fabrication. If available, please provide a separate estimate of the cost and lead time for prototype manufacturing. read less
