About the job
Hello,
I want to create a functional miniature suitcase based on the attached reference image. The image shows the intended appearance and layout but should be treated as a visual reference only. The construction and small details should be simplified and engineered appropriately for the miniature scale.
The target overall closed dimensions are 90 × 65 × 33 mm (height × width × depth), including the folded handle and wheels. Please inform me before beginning if these dimensions create any significant technical issues.
The suitcase should:
• Open and close.
• Have a permanently attached moving handle.
• Have permanently retained, non-rotating wheels with a subtle flat contact surface, allowing it to stand securely without rolling.
• Have an empty lower compartment.
• Contain no customer-removable components.
The inside of the lid should include a blank recessed area for a separately printed artwork insert. The artwork will be supplied later and permanently bonded during assembly; the artwork itself is not part of the CAD geometry.
The exterior should retain the blank rectangular nameplate area and circular emblem area shown in the reference image.
The corner-guard forms should be integrated into the shell rather than designed as separate or loose components.
The first version will be 3D printed as a functional prototype, but the design should also be suitable for future production in injection-moulded ABS. Please recommend the most appropriate hinge,...

I require the following deliverables:
• Editable native CAD files
• Individual component STEP files
• Complete assembled STEP file
• Print-ready STL and/or 3MF files
• Exploded assembly view optional
• Full commercial rights to the design
• One CAD revision after I test the first physical prototype
This request is for CAD design only. The prototype will be manufactured separately.
Please send me a fixed-price quotation, estimated completion time, if you have designed examples of similar miniature products.
Thank you.
