We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented CAD/CAM designer to create high-quality 2D vector layouts and 3D reliefs for our CNC router production. You will be responsible for converting concepts into precise machining files, ensuring optimal toolpaths, and preventing material wastage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and modify precise 2D technical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD.
Create, import, and model detailed 3D reliefs, textures, or artistic carvings using ArtCAM.Calculate efficient toolpaths (V-carving, profiling, pocketing, and 3D clearing).
Generate and verify accurate G-code compatible with our machine controllers.
Troubleshoot design files to eliminate nesting issues, overlapping vectors, and inefficient tool runs.
