Hi all,
I’m new to CadCrowd and just made my second hire on an hourly basis. We had agreed on a rate of $25 USD/hour, and I was under the impression that this would be the total amount I’d be paying.
However, I’ve now realized that the freelancer’s take-home pay was $20/hour — apparently due to CadCrowd’s platform fee. That came as a surprise, as I thought we were negotiating based on my total cost, not their net earnings.
Is this fee structure made clear to freelancers during negotiation? Or did I miss something on my end — like a note that I’d need to account for CadCrowd’s commission on top of the agreed rate?
Appreciate any insights from those who’ve used the platform for hourly work.
Thanks!
