A couple questions:

1. Is this device used to simply take the load of the pile?
2. Will a crane or skid steer or some other equipment transport the device to the pile?
3.if it is placed by a crane is it to drop down directly over the pile or does it need to wrap around the vertical cylinder you have in the mock up?

I can suggest you to made the project prepaid and to give three awards even if they are equal and smaller in money amount - I believe there will be a lot more interest...
