Description:
This is a product design for manufacturing it for personal use by patients. The product is a hand/wrist strengthening device to be used by 40-70 year old patients whom desire to improve their grip strength and regain their independence lost from age, disease or injury.
General ideas:
1. A two-handed device
2. Removable/replaceable endings that provide different grip options
3. Adjustable resistance for grip exercising that can be set at differing levels of resistance
4. Probably shaped like a flexible dumbell with a resistance rod in-between the two exchangeable hand-grips - but this is open to interpretation
5. Important that it can be used for wrist EXTENSION, not only wrist FLEXION - one of the hand grip options will need to be flexible rubber finger holes for this option
6. Connecting resistance rod should be quite flexible, durable and adjustable for varied resistance.
7. Prefer it does NOT require electricity or batteries - but still an option
8. Product should be 6-18 inches in size
9. Ease of use/simplicity in design is important
10. Product will be sold at a premium price-point, so needs to be robust and professional in look and feel
11. The end grip-cups would be best designed as ball-shaped and of a few different sizes and firmness, etc.
12. An additional end grip will be a finger-insert device (shaped like 5 finger rings connected together) and flexible for finger extension.
Wants:
This design will be used by a manufacturer to create a prototype from it.Colors are not important, but ease of use and pleasing ergonomic design that looks sturdy and can be offered to physical therapist professional use.
Don't Wants:
Non-unique design. This is NOT a typical V-shaped hand gripper.Do not want poorly thought-out design. We have ideas of what it SHOULD look like, but we are open to your creativity if it improves upon our design.
Any copy of any existing product for hand grip strengthening
Ask for Sample:
Samples are ideal. This product can be made in many ways, and the best, most professional and robust product will win.

Hello David, that's a good decision, you will have a better result from a prepaid contest.
Project has been upgraded to PREPAID as by request of many. We are hopeful to see improved designs with our updated requirements seen below.
Thank you.
Thank you.
So far, the entries are on the right track, however, I believe some things need to be clarified:
1. It's very important the unit can be made with adjustable resistance. The adjustments should be able to be "set" to be reused at that resistance in future from (possibly 5 stops?) low-to-high options. So, a single spring connector is not the answer.
2. The unit will require flexible connection between end-caps to allow for full wrist range of motion. It won't be necessary for this portion of flexibility to be very high resistance, NOR will this part need to be adjustable. Think of it as if one was polishing a bowling ball with either/both hands.
3. A major requirement is the extensor finger grip hand grip as it should have a great ability to extend the fingers while engaging the twisting motion. So a solid finger hole shape is one acceptable option, but there will need to be another one that allows full finger extensions as well. Think of it like a thick rubber band wrapped around the fingernails.
4. The soft grip option (ball shaped?) should be form-fitting to a firm grip - perhaps it's a soft foam permanently glued to a solid round plastic base attached to the resistance rod.
I hope this helps us all get a clearer understanding.
You all are doing a fantastic job so far. Your creativity is critical and very helpful.

Please pay for the project. That way, you can attract more serious designers.
is it required in AutoCAD Software only other Software is also ok
If it's held by two hands! it'll not straighten the grip! It'll work as a pec deck machine.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi, Mr. Davidd how are you? I came to this conclusion after reading your all information, you want one device which has two features like hand and wrist strengthening, dumbbells with variable resistance rod and hand griper with 5 flexible rubber holes for finger inserting respectively on single device. Please reply quickly did I understand correctly or not. I am waiting your answer because I want to design it with in time.
And people might be more eager to submit if you make it a prepaid contest. It shows the website you are serious, and then hides everyone's designs from eachother, so there's no copying or stealing of ideas. People who are very protective of their work might not want to submit until you do.
A few questions about the intentions of your design.
1. Those t shaped pieces on the ends of the bar you drew. Is that an extending piece that you want to use to connect to the grips? If it's just that, I'm worried it might slip off easily during the twisting motions. Your manufacturer might have an idea to help prevent that, such as an extremely high friction rubber coating, or something to that end. Otherwise, I can put a slip-in-pin on the handle and bar that should keep it a bit more locked in place.
2. I see you have space for 5 resistance rods on the device. Should the bars be visible so that a patient and/or therapist can see what their resistance is, or do you want the resistance pars to fit internally so they cannot be seen?
3. Should the entire connecting rod be made of the one flexible material, the same as those small connecting pieces at the ends? Or would you rather have those connecting pieces be made of a harder material and later inserted into the connecting rod?

What is the need for a pre-paid program here on CadCrowd? Why is this requested?
There are crude drawings submitted as images. This is the best we have.

I have a great design but would like to send you privately?
Hi... I want to work on this.... Please make it prepaid.
1) Does elastic rod should be twistable and bendable?
2) Is that required to be controlled/adjusted bending moment, extension force and twisting torque (all that characteristics simultaneously)?
3) Are ball-grip ends should be hard or soft (I mean you can crush/knead them in your hands)?
4) If ball-grip ends should be free to rotate, how they can transfer torque from hands to resistance rod?

Cool House Interleaving Humanity with Nature
Our project is an energy saving initiative that cools places of human habitation by retrofitting them with living trees. We require a 3D model that represents an apartment building 3 stories high that is overshadowed by a large living gazebo-like construct of the kind depicted in the photo below.
Cooling is afforded by virtue of the shading of the foliage of the tree that stands above the building as well as by the flow of air that is the result of the tree's evapotranspiration.
The design should be esthetic yet simple. The only vital details are those that bring across the recognition that what is depicted is a commercial or residential building overshadowed by four legged tree.

Personal and Portable Security Device
Hi Everyone,
Thanks very much for checking out our contest. We greatly appreciate your interest. If you have any questions or want to see if you are on the right track, please send us questions or check in often. We will likely have continued work opportunities for the winners in the future.
We are looking for 3D design for a personal security device. We are looking for your best and most creative designs for a sleek, modern device that is portable so you can throw it in your purse or briefcase but at you would be happy to have displayed on a shelf.
The device should be around the size of a 12-ounce Coke can or a bookend. It should be free standing so it can be place on a table or a shelf. The design should include a camera lens, either 360 degree on top of the device or incorporated into the device. It will include a Passive Infrared sensor, speakers, microphone slot, and strobe light. On the back, it should have a slot for a usb-c cable for charging, a power button and either a four-button key pad or a touch screen for an unlocking pattern. We also need it to be durable so it could take a fall or potentially a throw across a room. Also, we think black may be a good color but we are open to suggestions.
We are not looking for the wiring on the internals (although the inside should be hollow to allow for these), we are simply looking for the exterior design. If you have ideas on the inside, we will happily review.
We have included our initial prototype design for reference. We have moved away from that design.
We want you to think about what you would like to see on the table next to you that makes you feel safe but at the same time really catches your eye.
We have also attached some pictures of current home security devices. We do not want any copies of these but they can provide you with some reference.
The logo is unnecessary but include if you like.
Thanks very much and good luck!
