Your feedback would be appreciated. Did I meet your brief expections? I made the assumption that a basement window well is as-built, in front of one panel of the west slider. I'd be happy to address any revisions you'd like to make to my design. And add design for the front yard and new fence as well as any existing fencing that you may be replacing. I'd also be happy to review any bid submittals and interface with contractors either on your behalf or just to satisfy my own curiousities.

Stone fire feature design is of an open hearth for freestanding Argentine BBQ grill kit with front facing wheel and rear brasero. This arrangement allows varying sizes of fire and full height adjustment with wood or charcoal feeding from behind for maintaining long burn/cooking times. This kit will most likely require a long lead time for delivery. Alternately, a standard grill could be used.

Progress Update: Sketches completed. Sheet Layout begun, I'm using an 11x8.5 sheet size to allow easy viewing on personal devices and any photocopier, it will require more pages but should make for easy sharing and task breakouts. In addition to PDF sheets, I'll submit a DWG of the model. My design includes a kidney shaped putting green in the NE corner with 2 holes and chip shot practice from the lawn. The stone fire feature incorporates an adjacent frostproof yard hydrant to seasonally connect a pot filler faucet and washdown/shower hose connection. Lighting incorporates a sconce to downlight the stone fire feature, recessed footlights for ambient patio lighting, and swivel-pivot wall mounted lights on the screen feature and in the shed. The plant groups shown are small evergreens recommended for the location. Spaces allow for additional border plants. The screen feature plant is evergreen climbing Euonymous.

I'd design a plant screen to create a green view from the adjacent living room window. Where is your hose bibb? I'd plumb another in the area for maintenance. I'd combine your outdoor fireplace with grilling and countertop using your existing kitchen appliances rather than duplicates. Dressed weathered fieldstone vertical finish surrounding the fireplace will accent the space and clean smooth finishes elsewhere will further highlight that feature. Furniture will be supplemented with sitting walls for additional guests. Fencing and sitting walls will be constructed to match your existing siding finishes. Curvilinear plant bed and lawn perimeters will break up the rectilinear forms. I'll do some draft sketches next.

I will get some photos but right now it is dirt. we really dont have a whole lot in mind for designs so we are open to anything. our style of house is "modern farmhouse" so not sure if that helps with design
