I can work on some light weighting approaches if that is what the main goal is, keeping in mind 3d printing and respective additive manufacturing constraints.

@Chaniago No logo for this project, thanks. We are going for a sleek, high-quality, professional look. The ultrasound arrays do not need to be adjustable, in fact they need to be fixed. The head fixation mechanisms are the only thing that should be adjustable. The existing ultrasound array cannot be modified. However, do not worry too much about creating a way to embed them into the device. We will figure that out when we design this for manufacturing. We need you to focus on the form of the frame that surrounds the arrays and head fixation mechanisms only.

Hi...Tom
I have a few things I want to ask
*Do you need a logo on this product. If needed, please share the log ?
*Do ultrasound arrays have to be adjustable ?
*Is it possible if I modify the existing ultrasound array ?

Regards,
Chaniago

@Ysuf Aryasa Thanks for checking. No electrical components in the frame. It is just for holding the patient&;s head and transducers.

Hello Tom, are there any electrical components in the frame? Or just only for holding the transducers and the patient&;s head?

Thank you.

@Steven wijay Just design for 3D print is sufficient. Thanks!

@Harry the transducer case DopplerPhasedArray1 cannot be changed unfortunately. Everything else around it can though. Hoping to make the frame sleek to hide this bulky transducer.

Hai Tom, i have one question. your goal for now is only good design and 3d printable ? or wanna until mass production ? because there is different design method for them both.

if you wanna design for 3dprint. i can do optimal for that goal.

best

Thanks for the .step file.
Now my question is can we change the shape and size of the bulky transducer case? If we can, what&;s the minimum size?

@Harry S. I uploaded a .STEP file of the array assembly. The ultrasound transducers are the parts labeled &;DopplerPhasedArray1&;. Let me know if you have any questions.

I can&;t open the files in SW 2019. Could you save to older version or to .step files?

Solidworks is preferred. But if Blender can export to STL for 3d printing then that is fine.
Wed, 06 Oct 2021 15:03:35 +0000
May I make it in Blender software?

I may not understand your question, sorry, but I will try to give as much information as I can. The human will be lying down with their head fixed in place within the device. There needs to be no material between the arrays and patient&;s head so ultrasound can pass through uninterrupted. I.e. nothing can be on the sides of the head between the transducers. Gel pads that press agaist the forehead could work! As long as they are adjustable to fit several different adult patients - male and female (this typically requires 40 mm of adjustable length).

If not need to be human head in fixed places. Why not using gel pad and strap it on to bicycle helmet. :)

Hmm, does the human head need to be in fixed place so the scanner could scan easliy? or redesign the helmet to scan a brain?

It was an M3 screw. But any screw is accessible to us.

Can you tell me which screw where used with the 3 D print i.e which is easily accessible to you.
