I am printing and testing as the designs come in. There are many excellent designs already, which meet the requirements. Perhaps I will post initial review ratings this weekend. At present, the design by Andy Cripps is in the lead (although in the initial version the camera was backwards). The reason it is in the lead is that it is short, and when one is trying to adjust the center of gravity of the mount, the way to do so is to move it forward and backward along the airplane body. Because the mount is short, one can move it over a wide range without having the camera hanging out over the front of the airplane. I also like that it creatively adjusts the design to focus on lightness and durability. The design by ahmadnazree also seems to meet requirements and is elegant and well thought out, but it&;s a bit longer. The design by MS22 design is innovative and appears to meet requirements, although I&;m still printing and testing. The other designs I&;m either having trouble printing (I&;m using ABS, if that helps) or the electronics don&;t connect properly.

@designers:

Please note that all the entries must be visible, you can&;t post a blank image or logo. The buyer chose to post a non-blind contest.

Designs that are not visible will be deleted.

Thanks,
Lucian

I did opt for a non-sealed contest for two reasons. (1) it was a little cheaper (in terms of overhead fees paid to cad crowd). (2) I do not wish to own the results, I wish to share them for other hobbyists. Thank you for the excellent work thus far.

Hi Sava, at first I thought it is weird since cadcrowd.com has always mentioned that the prepaid contest will always be sealed. Maybe the Contest Holder has opted for a non-sealed contest. But in the spirit of competition, you have to be the best to win despite the odd. I&;ll improve the design gradually. Thank you very much and may the best design win.

Very strange - the design of ahmadnazree is visible. And this is not bad at all (for the contest holder) - next participants will see the current solution and will probably improve it. Only ahmadnazree will feel used but this is something commonly for most of participants. However, perhaps such an approach is better - the end solution will be better...
