Hi Everyone
I have attached an image "concept" to the contest to better describe my comments below and provide more clear design direction.
Please excuse the terrible drawing from my touchscreen, but I hope that this will help explain it better.
Thank you.

Hi Everyone
Some feedback from the team so far, hope this will help narrow down the design:
- Preferably, the top half of the housing where the solar cell is located, should be a single part that is transparent (ie: no separate window design). We may apply a spark finish to the inside of the lid to conceal the PCB and allow light to pass. We can then print on the lid to decorate.
- Looking at the mechanism for the transponder to attach to various objects. We would prefer that there is a locating groove or slot (something along these lines) that allows the transponder design to locate into a separate bracket designs in the future. This would give us much higher flexibility in terms of mounting options going forward. So imagine a bracket that holds the transponder firmly on the sides, we are thinking it may be best to employ a groove or slot on the sides of the transponder housing.
Hope this helps and thank you so much for all the designs we have received so far.

Hi David.Thue, the PCB measures 34mm x 14mm
What is the total size of the PCB in mm?
Hi. did you rate my design to 0 stars, or you didn't rate it yet?
thanks
thanks
Thanks. I'd like to see your opinion soon (and the stars;), because I have plenty of time this week to improve it if necessary.
Hi Gikam, thank you, we are reviewing this with the team shortly.
Hi Mobii, what about my design?
how to hide my designs?
Hi Indjmay, you can supply the design in any format. Apologies, it is not possible for me to edit the contest information.
Is solidworks a must? Solidworks will open a file from many other programs.
what is the diameter of the pipe of the bike fork, where it will be attached?
Hi Gikam, yes, that sounds right.
I'll make it 1.5 mm. is ok?
Hi Gikam, there is restriction on the thickness. However, typically with Polycarbonate (if this is used) you would typically have a minimum wall thickness of 1.3mm
ok. let's see... any restrictions for the case thickness?
Hi Gikam, a radius of 1mm would likely make the transponder look too "boxy". We cannot make any changes to the PCB, so the housing will need to accommodate for the PCB.
a radius of about 1 mm for each corner will make the case much stronger! is it possible a radius of 1 mm for the PCB corners?
Hi Gilkam, there is a lot going on in the various layers with different PCB traces so that is not possible.
It would be best to make the housing design slightly larger to accommodate for rounded corners.

can you round a bit the corners of the PCB?
