They should run off of a single rechargeable A or AA battery, and we have the basic body shape. Need designs for the computer controllers (Arduino or similar), software, simple radio remote control and system, electric motor systems, and drive systems engineered. We have the basic frame shape. We are looking for simple, field serviceable designs that kids can take apart and put together and use to learn these technologies.
Just like everyone, we want it ASAP.

This is a fun but serious learning platform, not a novelty product.
We want kids to learn about software, radio control, electric motors and drive control systems for electric cars, and all that plus aeronautics for drones. We will also teach them good sportsmanship as we compete with the final products.
Ask for Sample:If you can produce a working sample, we will pay for it at a reasonable cost.

Design of a new Robotic Character t
Hi there, We are a small robotics startup that develop robotic toys. While we are able to do all the mechanical, electrical and software development, we do not have any artist onboard to make our robots look fantastic! So we are looking for someone with expertise in 3D modeling and product design. This is not a one time gig, we are looking for someone we can collaborate on the long term. Your job will be quite simple: We will provide you a CAD model and you will have to design around it to make it look nice according to our directions. For each project, we will expect to first see some sketches (you ll have 1 week for that) and then once we have reviewed them and pick one, you will be designing the 3d model (2 weeks for that). The first project will be to design the shell of a humanoid robotic toy. Again do not send anything till we have picked someone and provided CAD model and design directions. In order for us to pick someone we will need two things: - First, the more robot design you have in your portfolio and you can show us, the better we can appreciate your style and capacities. - Your hourly rate or per project rate. Training Ball & Sci-Fi Env
I have two models that need to be made for an indie game I'm building. The first is a simple orb thing that levitates and will shoot lasers. The second is a temple training like facility. Orb: I'm creating a game that needs a sci-fi training orb that'll levitate around, and fire lasers. I've done a very crude sketch (attached) to help you understand what I'm envisioning. Temple Environment: It should feel like a wide open space that also seems a bit "sacred". I've provided another crude drawing of what I'm envisioning. I have a couple of tweaks about it though, I'd like the ceiling to be much higher and there to be pillars holding on the lights instead of them just hanging on the wall. And the windows to be about 75% of their thickness and taller.
