#16 Hallway DECOR by Sims
My suggestion is to have functional aesthetic space with ample storage options. The Vaulted ceiling is very nice & a pendant light would transform the space entirely. Place a small pot plant to make the space lively. Wall mounted shelf would take less space & the floor area would be entirely free for cleaning purpose.
Kindly go through attached files. Hope you like it. Your comments would be highly appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
The tall thin door on the right of the assembly pulls out for extra storage. Would hold the objects you have hanging under the arc in your photos. Thanks for giving us all the opportunity.

#12 Hallway Model by Cadmzsb
Polycorbonate diffuser sheets have been used for a ceiling design.
The door to the kitchen should be removed and replaced with the wallpaper, limiting its opening only to the living room.
A two door cupboard would be sufficient for putting large items such as foldable mattress , for storing smaller items seating bench cum sliding drawer can be used.

Hi
My focus was on how getting the most out of that small space. The main focus was on placing a mirror onto the back wall so it kind of opens the space. The drawer also includes a mirror and adds storage place. Also three spots with warm lights were added to give it a smooth and inviting atmosphere.

#6 Not small anymore, simply practical... by Arhitecto
Hello hope you like the project
Here is another idea according to the new info
Here is the little space design as to fit all your needs. Since you said that the door is not the main one but a secondary communication, it has been taken down. Now you have a half office zone with a lot of space for books and anything you would like to place. Your kids can play games or you can work on the PC. Maybe place a laptop if you are in a hurry to finish something. Doing homework or anything similar can also be done. So not only do you get additional storage room, you also get a workspace. And it is not small anymore. Now it is simply practical. A simple celling light will work wonders with your vaulted celling. The stairs are no longer a waste of space, since you can place stuff under it. You have both shelves and drawers. A simple office chair can fit there easily. In the honeycomb shelves is a place for your keys, mobile phone, home phone. Also there is a chalk board for you to write down anything you want, from your bussiness calendar to anything that you do not want to forget to do. Enjoy your new space and if you need any help feel free to ask.

#3 Creative and useful by Arhitecto
Here is our project.
Main points are the vaulted wall which now has a tall shelving unit (we noticed the door wasnt used, with so many items in front of it, so we decided to make it a large storage) some 12-15 inches deep (depends on your wishes and exact dimensions) with an extendable large board that goes for further 18 inches. It has a flank clearance of 14 inches on either side so you can put your bagagge case along the wall. The shelving has space for anything, the lower shelves are for shoes and sports gear, the middle rows are for bags and purses, hats and glasses, whilst the top tier is for stuff you rarely use, some mechanical books or tools, buckets, small spades and shovels... anything you need
The wall on the left has a set of honeycomb shelves where you can place necesities and things you often use (phone, keys, pencils...) and a small black board visible from the kitchen where you can write chores or shopping lists and an additional board/poster on the other side of the honeycombs. The space below is clear so you can put a bag or suitcase under the honeycombs.
We chose honeycombs because they add style and look better than the usual flat and repetitive shelves.
The small indent by the stairs has a rack for 2 items which can be bags, clothes, suites, jackets, dry cleaneed laundry bags etc... the rack can be expanded to 4 if needed. Besides the clothes rack is a clever staircase shaped shelf for small books, plants, boxes...anything really! Since its near the kitchen, you can have plants like lavender here for cooking.
Notes: The door to the right (leading to the kitchen) has been removed because its opening clearance is a waste of space and it is not at all needed.
We hope you like it, any changes and customizations can be made
Cheers

Hey there! I see that you replied that the dimensions are 63" x 41".
Could you be more specific, please? What is the height from the floor to the ceiling? Is the width of the wall the 53 inches or the 41 inches? What is the height of the door(s)?

Tables we’re considering are included, but not mandatory - Herman Miller polygon table series, we were thinking a grouping of two or three with the sectional (http://store.hermanmiller.com/search?q=polygon+tables&lang=en_CA). Millwork design for TV area is required and elsewhere if necessary (we can do CAD drawings, so graphic representation is fine). We were thinking of a floor to ceiling wall covering just behind the TV and then wall mounting the components to clean things up. It could be raised from the wall to hide cords, etc. Could have storage on either side and underneath the TV. Shelving is an option too. We’re open, these are just some ideas. Plants are also encouraged. Notes about millwork on the TV wall - there is a return air that can’t be covered on the RHS, so floating cabinets or shelving on that side is ideal. We are open to changing speakers to some that could sit on shelving if necessary, but we also like the ones we have now if they can be neatly incorporated, since they sound amazing. We have access to custom high end finishing, so these aspects are to be factored into the design where possible/necessary. (wallcovering, upholstery, millwork, paint/lacquer; see https://www.crownwallpaper.com/ for options for upholstery for pillows and wallcoverings) Have some fun with that. We are not committed to any furniture configuration, but there’s obviously limitations. Our sectional could be moved to underneath the pony wall, however the TV can’t be relocated. Large brown cabinet and houndstooth chair is not part of design. My husband is a musician and we need to incorporate his gear into the design as he plays music every day (7 guitars, 1 amp stacked. foot pedal board and some auxiliary equipment such as headphone amp and headphones). Guitars could be hung on the wall, slat wall for example or keep the current stand. We spend the majority of our leisure time in this room and need sufficient storage for blankets, foam body rollers and other small every day use items (remotes). We don’t like clutter, everything should have a place, but we also like to live in our space. We use the sliding doors for fresh air only, no regular in out access. Our house is modern and our taste is contemporary yet edgy. We are also looking to incorporate some tables, artwork and area rug (rugs.ca) so need sizing and scale for this. Needs to be pet friendly, we have an alpha chihuahua (or so he thinks) who goes on the furniture. Questions are welcome.
