Description:
This is a 2D to 3D skid drawing project. We're looking for one submission with CADWorx and one submission with AutoCAD.Please see the attached APLX text file and PDF for applicable piping specs.
The evaluation is attached for use. The layout and equipment drawings have been included for information, rather than to be individually converted.
The deliverable will be one 3D model of the entire piping & skid (don't submit as individual files for every drawing).
Wants:
The evaluation will be judged on presentation, effective use of piping spec and dimension accuracy for the piping and skid.The $500 prize is for the best CADWorx Plant submission.
The $200 prize is for the best AutoCAD submission
Note: The prizes will go out to 2 different people. We're looking for a different person to work on CADworx and a different person to work with AutoCAD.
This is a small project, but we'll probably ask the top 2 designers to work on some large projects over the next couple months.
Don't Wants:
Deliver one 3D model for the skid. Don't deliver the work as separate files.

A 2D to 3D Conversion Project with AutoCAD - Valve Design
This is a 2D to 3D conversion project for the valves in the attached PDF (10 pages). The work needs to be done with AutoCAD.
To start, we only want designers to submit one drawing of the 1/4" valve on the first page. The designer with the best quality submission will be asked to do the drawings on page 1-3 (26 drawings).
Assuming that we’re happy with page 1-3, we’ll be asked to complete the rest of the drawings.
There’s also a zip file supporting AutoCAD docs. Please note that the valves are rated to -60C.
Redline Drafting: Skill Test Contest for $100K+ of Freelance Work
We're looking for 5+ freelance drafters to help with redline drafting work over the next 12 months (est. start in late-January). The work will be for several of Canada's largest O&G companies.
This purpose of this contest is to find contractors with the skills needed to help with our future redline work. Our draftsman will review the entries and award the prize to the top 5 freelance experts. After this first contest, we'll delegate work directly to the best freelancers through private projects. Past experience with the oil and gas industry is a big plus.
