Hi. It's my first time using this service so I'm not sure how to do that. If you can explain to me how to seal the entries then I'd be more than happy to. Thanks. Richard

Please, could you seal the entries?
So one designer's entry is not visible to the other.

Hi,

I've had a good look at the designs submitted so far, some of which are very good. A couple of points for feedback:

1) The GoPro camera itself is the most valuable piece of equipment which is to be carried in these cases, so it needs to have the maximum protection available. Please consider this carefully when thinking about where to position the camera in the case.

2) The GoPro camera has lots of buttons on its exterior (as shown in the dimensions attached). The packaging does not necessarily have to fit exactly around all of these buttons. As long as the camera is held securely the packaging does not have to fit around all the buttons exactly. If you follow this link to one of our competitors products you should get an idea of what I mean. http://www.jasoncases.com/store/product-category/gopro/

3) Some designs submitted have a specific slot for a 'battery charger' or 'leads'. This is not what was requested. There needs to be a generic space for the storage of generic 'accessories'. Every customer will have different accessories so there deliberately needs to be a generic space, or spaces, to accommodate any accessories they might need.

4) The specification for the 'GoPro Single Case' has been altered slightly to now include a requirement for 1 x Wifi BacPac and 1 x Wifi Remote. Please see revised attachment.

Thanks

Richard

Hi,

@ Pilotjeffedwards. No, the case is a standard case which already exists within our range of products. We are only after a custom interior.

@ TomyAsa. The measurements listed are taken from the most recent GoPro, the GoPro Hero 4 Black. However all GoPro cameras are the same size, and this interior needs to accept all GoPro camera models.

@Reda. The measurements provided are correct. The Camera is not a perfect square. The back of the camera is very slightly wider than the front of the camera.

Thanks

Richard

Hi Oakmays Ltd,
hi,
unless it is not only right angles ... your GoPro camera's dimensions are not accurate.

simple calculation ... 67 + 5 = 72 mm
the other side 37 + 9 + 11 + 7 + 5 = 69 mm

I wonder how they managed to draw ????
thank you to explain to me I want submited my idea

Hi. Yes that will be fine. To confirm for anybody else who may have similar concerns, I have only specified those two software packages as that is what we have. I don't mind what software this project is designed in providing it can be exported and sent to us as a .step file. Thanks. Richard

can I use Autodesk Inventor? I will give you .igs/.step file to be opened in solidworks

I should just note. This is our first time experimenting with this service and I was unsure exactly how much to set as a 'prize' as I had no benchmark. If you're interested but feel the price does not reflect the work required, please feel free to contact me. Richard

Stiletto Girl Shoe Design
Ok,so I have a design patent pending for a design of stiletto shoe, with a girl on the heel, which doubles as a pole. This will be a novelty product, sold in places like Spencer's gift stores, novelty stores etc. Additionally in places like Vegas etc. We plan on having different size products, from key chains to maybe a 7-9 inch version. Plans are for the product to be made out of of plastic. The goal for this project is to come up with a 3D model to enable us to create our first prototype, which will either be via 3D printing or traditional plastic. manufacturing. The drawings from the patent application are attached.
Plate Sauce Cup
- Looking for concepts for a sauce cup that, by way of a solid, useable mechanism, can be attached to the outside edge of a plate, so that a wide variety of sauces can be placed in it - this item will allow you to keep sauces, like ketchup, gravy or plum sauce, etc off the plate, so they don't mix ... AND you have more room for food on your plate. - must be curved to follow the edge of a plate's edge - material will most likely be plastic - must be dishwasher safe - 3 sizes - dinner plate (10in diameter), salad plate (8in diameter), and cheese/tea/dessert plate (7in diamter) - look to have a logical and functional means of clamping the cup to the plate - my thoughts are one or two hinges, so think of ease of construction, as well as being able to be easily opened (yet strong holding power). Alternate means of clamping will be considered. - Feel free to provide a design for a sauce cup that has 2 or 3 distinct "compartments" to house different sauces (in each separate compartment) at the same time.

Ruggedized "Case" for 3D Scanner
We are looking to produce a custom ruggedized "case" for a professional 3D scanning instrument. This instrument is often used on construction job sites, and the threat of damage due to drops or falls is quite high. We envision a 1/2" dense foam "cage" of sorts that will fit over the body of the scanner. Please see the attached 3D model, video and pictures for a more complete idea of our needs.
