Water shell and tube heat exchanger

A water shell and tube heat exchanger is a type of heat exchanger specifically designed to transfer heat between water and another fluid (which can also be water or a different liquid/gas). It consists of a shell (outer vessel) and a bundle of tubes through which one of the fluids flows.
