Complete V6 Engine — Mechanical CAD Assembly
Project Overview
Complete 3D mechanical CAD model of a V6 engine developed in Autodesk Fusion.
The project was built progressively by modeling individual engine components and integrating them into a complete mechanical assembly.
The final model includes the main structural, internal and external components of the engine, as well as functional assembly relationships and mechanical motion.
Main Components
- V6 engine block
- Pistons
- Crankshaft
- Cylinder heads
- Camshaft and valve train
- Valve springs
- Rocker arms
- Oil pan
- Exhaust manifolds
- Valve covers
- Engine side covers
- Air intake system
- Air filters
- Hoses

Objective
The objective of this project was to develop a complete automotive engine assembly from individual CAD components.
Rather than creating isolated parts, the project focused on integrating the components into a coherent mechanical system and establishing relationships between moving components.
The final section-view animation demonstrates the piston and crankshaft mechanism operating within the assembled engine.
Software
Autodesk Fusion
Portfolio Focus
This project demonstrates experience in mechanical CAD modeling, assembly design, component integration and mechanical motion.
It represents a complete portfolio project covering both individual component development and full mechanical assembly.
