The Lost Path in Oregon Woods is a real-time forest environment created using SpeedTree and Unreal Engine. The project focuses on designing and validating custom vegetation assets inspired by real Oregon forest flora.
All trees and plants were researched from real-world references and recreated in SpeedTree. Textures were sourced from Megascans and custom-made using photo references, refined in Photoshop, and converted into PBR materials using Substance Designer.
This work-in-progress demo environment is built as an explorable scene, with plans to include a player-controlled character and a full walkthrough showcasing all original assets. The project demonstrates a professional vegetation pipeline suitable for real-time applications such as games, VR, and interactive visualization.
