A customer lost the SIM card tray for his Microsoft Surface Duo 2. Instead of buying a new phone, he asked me to design a replacement. I created a precise 3D model based on the original dimensions, which could be used for 3D printing. The part fit perfectly and saved the customer from an expensive repair or replacement. This project shows I can reverse engineer and design practical replacement parts for real-world problems.
