Robotic Spot Welding Jig for Large Rear Wheel House Assembly
Designed a robotic spot welding jig for a large automotive rear wheel house assembly. Responsible for the complete design process, including concept development, fixture layout, locating and clamping systems, robot accessibility considerations, weld gun clearance analysis, 3D modeling, and detailed manufacturing drawings. The jig was developed to ensure accurate part positioning, repeatable welding quality, and seamless integration with robotic welding operations.
