Premium 250 mL Chili Oil Glass Bottle and Tamper-Evident Cap Design

This project involved the complete mechanical design and product development of a 250 mL glass bottle and matching tamper-evident polypropylene (PP) closure intended for food-grade chili oil packaging. The objective was to create a premium, production-ready packaging solution that combines aesthetic appeal with functional performance. The bottle geometry was developed to provide a distinctive shelf presence while maintaining structural integrity for glass manufacturing and compatibility with automated filling and capping lines. The closure was designed with a tamper-evident band to ensure product security, consistent sealing performance, and reliable opening characteristics. Special attention was given to thread engagement, sealing surfaces, dimensional tolerances, and manufacturability to support efficient mass production.
