1. This is a clamshell phone plastic cover I designed 20 years ago for TCL, a domestic Chinese brand. 2. At that time, the mobile phone industry in China was just taking off, and most designs were heavily influenced by Nokia and Motorola. It took me about a month to complete this project—studying competing products while developing the design, all while taking into account the limitations of China's mold manufacturing capabilities at the time. After multiple rounds of design reviews, iterative improvements, and prototype testing, the design was successfully approved for production.
