MLOK M4 Handguard Set – Custom Design for Airsoft Spring Platform
This project is a fully original MLOK handguard set designed from scratch for a local airsoft spring platform. The goal was to create a product that combines strong visual aesthetics, structural strength, and efficient manufacturability through 3D printing.
The entire design process was completed using Autodesk Fusion 360, starting from concept development to final production-ready models. Special attention was given to achieving a precise fit with the base platform while maintaining a clean and aggressive design language.
The handguard features a functional MLOK interface, allowing modular attachment of accessories such as grips and rails. Structural integrity was carefully optimized to ensure durability during use, while minimizing material usage to keep the part lightweight and print-efficient.
Additionally, the geometry was designed to be easy to 3D print, reducing the need for excessive supports and ensuring consistent print quality. The final product has been successfully manufactured and tested, confirming both its functionality and reliability in real-world use.
This project highlights my ability to deliver end-to-end product design, from concept to a fully realized physical product, with a strong focus on both engineering performance and visual appeal.
