Matrix-Style Glass Percolator Water Pipe Design
This project involved the design and development of a Matrix-style glass percolator water pipe, engineered to deliver enhanced smoke filtration while showcasing a modern, precision-crafted appearance. The objective was to create a functional and visually striking glass product that balances performance, durability, and manufacturability.
The model was developed in SolidWorks using advanced surface and solid modeling techniques to accurately define the complex internal and external geometries. The design features a cylindrical chamber, integrated matrix percolator, reinforced neck, stable base, and precision-fit component interfaces. Particular attention was given to maintaining smooth airflow, structural integrity, and proper alignment of the internal filtration system.
The project required careful consideration of glass forming processes, wall thickness consistency, internal chamber geometry, and assembly tolerances to ensure the design could be manufactured while maintaining both functionality and aesthetic quality.
